Meet Jefferson, our Field Services Manager 🐝

If you’ve ever had bees safely removed and relocated by Little Giant Beekeepers, there’s a good chance Jefferson was part of the magic. As our Field Services Manager and Lead Bee Removal Technician, he serves residential and commercial clients, safely transferring colonies into our company hives or trusted local beekeeper properties where they can thrive.

With more than 20 years in the bee removal industry, Jefferson brings deep knowledge, strong leadership, and steady care to every job. He manages technician routes, trains new team members, and assists with full hive removals, making him a cornerstone of our field team.

Known for his bright, sunny disposition and fun sense of humor, Jefferson loves bringing joy to both clients and coworkers. We are so grateful to have him in the Little Giant family.

This is Murphy. He doesn't collect pollen, but he does collect belly rubs. 🐝🐶 Happy National Dog Day from the Little Giant Beekeepers family!

Every removal is about carefully relocating the colony, respecting the hive, and giving those bees a real second chance to thrive. That’s what responsible removal looks like.

We truly believe you never stop being a student of the hive. Continued education is part of honoring this craft, and we're always looking for ways to deepen our understandings and grow as beekeepers.

Josh and I spent the weekend at an incredible workshop hosted by Nathalie at Mindful, LLC She is an inspiration, with 15 years of experience, both Master Beekeeper and Master Craftsman certifications, and managing over 400 colonies on her own using top bar hives.

Nathalie is passionate about teaching others this natural style of horizontal beekeeping through her own standardized hive system. She practices a strictly treatment-free, miticide-free approach using Integrated Pest Management in a truly bee-centric way, no poisons in the hives and no contaminated wax or honey.

We’re excited to begin our own journey experimenting with these new resources and will keep you posted on our progress.

Grateful to keep learning, to share this work with such a thoughtful community, and to have my son growing alongside me in the process.

Together, we rise. 🐝
