☀️ North Texas heat can pull up to ¼" of water from your pool each day through simple evaporation. Wind, direct sun, splashing, and water features speed things up, so refilling an inch or two a week is normal.
🚨 Topping off more than 2" a week? You might be facing a hidden leak. Watch for air bubbles in the returns, constantly drifting chemistry, or damp spots around the deck and equipment pad.
🪣 Quick bucket test: set a bucket of pool water on the top step, mark both waterlines, and check after 24 hours. If the pool line drops lower than the bucket line, heat isn’t the culprit.
