Do I have to put my clothes out for pickup in laundry bags?
No, you can put your clothes out for pickup in any bag you want—just make sure it’s closed at the top. Most people use disposable kitchen trash bags. If you have air-dry clothes, put them in a separate bag and label it “air-dry”.
What days do you pick up and deliver?
We are open 7 days per week between 7 am-9 pm. If other arrangements are needed please just let us know and we will do our best to accommodate.
Do you launder clothes in cold or hot water?
We wash all clothing in cold water only, unless specifically requested to use warm or hot. Please just let us know at time of order.
What laundry detergent do you use?
We use only plant based/natural detergents including Melaleuca (in Scent Free, Garden Lavender, Island Breeze, or Mountain Fresh) or Ecos Free & Clear.
Do you use fabric softener?
We do not regularly use fabric softener, however, we do have a biodegradable, plant-derived softening agent from Melaleuca in Garden Lavender or Clean Cotton scents per your request. We also have dryer sheets or dryer balls per request. (all of these as well as stain and sanitizing treatments are included in your service free of charge.)
So my clothes get mixed with other orders?
No! Never. Won’t happen. Your clothes are kept together at all times and never mixed with other orders. So there are no sanitation issues and no risk of your clothes getting lost.
Do you do dry cleaning or ironing?
Unfortunately, no. Please be sure that any clothing you leave for pick up does not require a dry-clean only service.
Do you wash cloth diapers?
At this time we are not servicing cloth diapers.
Do you wash large items like comforters?
We launder anything that fits in a high capacity residential washer and dryer. Large puffy items like bedding will require an additional $8/item, and we ask that you be sure they are machine washable and able to be dried.
Can you hang dry certain items?
Yes, if you have items you would like to be hung-dry, please put them out for pick-up in a separate bag labeled “hang dry only”
Can you return certain items hung?
Yes, simply include the hangers with your laundry and indicate which items you’d like hung in a note.
Is there a minimum?
We have a $25 minimum on all orders. You can still give us as much or as little laundry as you want, but if it’s less than 20 lbs for a one time/occasional delivery or 25 lbs for weekly service, you’ll still be charged the minimum of $25 for service.
