People are ALWAYS asking how I release a skunk. So here it is. I went ahead and had it open because it’s hard to video on my own. I take a piece of rebar that has a hook on it, open the trap door catch the hook in the end and shove the end of the rebar in the handle so the door won’t close. Pretty easy!

So it’s that time of year where squirrels like to get in your attics. Tree squirrels don’t hibernate, which a lot of people don’t know, but their body temperature remains the same throughout most of the year. When it’s colder outside, they do spend less time outside foraging, but they are also more likely to share dens. This means that if they get into your attic, unless it’s just a rogue squirrel, odds are, you will probably have multiple squirrels! That means lots of noise, f***s, urine, possible damage to structural components, electrical components, insulation compacted down and ruined, duct work ruined, etc. They can certainly be a headache, but I am here to help with that! If they have an easy point of access that can be repaired, I can make those repairs to prevent future headaches!

Call me for your nuisance squirrels!

Another nuisance caught and safely released!

In case you were wondering how strong raccoons are. This one destroyed my cage. This cage was literally bought yesterday for this job. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Poor thing had to of hurt itself getting out of this thing. It was a big momma.

Got more traps set. But if you plan to catch a raccoon, better not let it sit long.

Getting ready to set some traps!!

This is how you set a trap for an armadillo. Armadillos feed on insects mostly and they like sweets. They are basically blind, so they use their sense of smell to rely on food. You have to funnel them into a trap rather than baiting a trap, because they are so blind, they have no idea how to get into a trap. Here I have set up a 3 way funnel covering 180 degrees. Hopefully in the next day or 2 we will have an armadillo. More pictures/videos to come.
