One of my favorite areas on the layout to capture. The trains exit the portal to the right and loop around and over the top of itself adding a cool effect as the foreground and background capture the entirety of the train.

SP’s SNPMC is being lead by Rio Grande SD40T-2 5372 and 4 other units as it charges through Martinez, destined for the Permanente cement plant.

UP 1448 (ex DRGW 3101) and UP 1495 (ex SSW 7278) lead one hopper out of Kleen Blast in Hayward, CA.

This service comes twice a week through my workplace, and services the neighboring industry.

Project number 3 is complete! This is a Lifelike Proto 2000 GP60, I installed a Tsunami 2 TSU-PNP8 with LED headlights, ditch lights, number boards and truck lights. I had to mill the frame weight down to get everything to fit just right, gonna program it up tomorrow and see how it looks!

Had some fun creating this one!

Southern Pacific SD45T-2 number 9319, which is actually a B unit believe it or not. It maintained the Kodachrome paint scheme, or what was left of it until it was retired by Union Pacific.

Just waiting on a Soundtraxx Tsunami2 for it, and it will be hitting the rails!

Just completed this Cotton Belt B40-8

This model came sound ready, equipped with a speaker installed from factory so I dropped a Tsunami2 21PNEM decoder into it and gave it a light weathering job.
