Storm Debris Collection Deadline – Important Notice
The City of Corinth has established April 30, 2026, as the deadline for residents to place storm-related debris in the public right‑of‑way for collection.
Please remember the following guidelines:
* Do not cut tree limbs into small sections.
* Keep debris away from roadways and several feet back to prevent traffic hazards.
* Do not place debris in front of:
* Mailboxes
* Street signs
* Fire hydrants
* Water meters
* Utility poles
*Non‑storm debris (routine tree trimming or removal) will not be collected. Any hired tree service is responsible for hauling and disposal of non‑storm materials at the city landfill.
The City will continue to collect smaller piles of limbs, leaves, and pine needles not removed by the debris contractor. Cleanup efforts are expected to continue for four to six more weeks, including a final sweep before the contractor departs.
To date, approximately 240,000 cubic yards of debris have been collected—well above the original estimate. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as crews continue working in areas not yet serviced.
Thank you for helping us keep Corinth safe and moving forward after the storm.
