Post Open-House Ozone Fogging--- Good morning. I just watched a great segment on the Today show about how new technology is helping to fight the Coronavirus. They were using a Hydrogen peroxide fogger in a closed space to clean masks and the inside of an ambulance. It took them several hours to complete. The funny thing about that is we have been using one of those for years in smaller spaces to kill mold and bacteria. We moved to Ozone Fogging because it is hours quicker we can treat up to 40,000 sq-ft vs just a room. For a typical size house it only takes an hour to Sanitize. This is current technology being adapted.

POST OPEN-HOUSE OZONE DISINFECTION. I want to thank everyone for the referrals. We have started getting a lot of scheduling for post open-house disinfection. We have been going in and running our Ozone generators, sanitizing the property in about an hour. Several of the houses that had open-houses, had 40+ people/families walk thru. Who knows what was brought in the house. One couple has a new baby and they did not want to take any chances. We are offering post open-house sanitation for a flat fee of $200, we are not going off of square footage. Thanks again for the referrals. Please keep them coming.

We had to drive to Cleveland and pick-up 4 new Ozone Generators due to the large demand. I bought their last 4 machines. Greyhound bought all of their smaller machines to clean their buses. They informed me that they are not sure when they can assemble any more machines. The circuit boards they use to generate the Ozone are sitting in a container, on the Hong Kong ship docks. They have no idea when they will be able to leave for the United States. You have to love supply chain issues.

Coronavirus is the leading news headline today, and we’re learning more every day about how deadly the virus can be. There are many ways to disinfect, but ozone has a 99% effectiveness when killing pathogens like the flu, SARS, and the Coronavirus.

What is the Coronavirus? COVID-19 had not been previously identified in humans. The coronavirus (COVID-19), is closely related to the SARS virus (COV-2). According to the World Health Organization, coronaviruses are a large family of viruses that cause illnesses ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV).

How does ozone kill a virus? Typically, viruses are small, independent particles, built of crystals and macromolecules that multiply only within the host cell. The new coronavirus is considered an “enveloped virus.” Enveloped viruses are usually more sensitive to physico-chemical challenges. In past studies, 99% of viruses have been damaged or destroyed after 30 seconds of exposure to ozone. Ozone destroys viruses by diffusing through the protein coat into the nucleic acid core, resulting in damage of the viral RNA. At higher concentrations, ozone destroys the exterior protein shell by oxidation.

When disinfecting large areas, ozone gas has been proven to kill the SARS coronavirus. Because the structure of the new 2019-nCoV coronavirus is almost identical, it is somewhat safe to believe that it will also work on the new coronavirus. Currently, there are more than 17 scientific studies that prove ozone gas can destroy the SARS coronavirus.

What product can I use to eliminate the Coronavirus? Consider for disinfection utilizing ozone gas in a large enough concentration. Our machines can clean spaces as large as 40,000 sqft. Ozone will pe*****te floors, keyboards and cracks, disinfecting as it moves through the space. For safety reasons, no people, pets, or plants should be left in the room during the disinfection cycle. In addition, these machines can generate 3 – 5 ppm within 1 – 2 hours depending on the size of the space.
