Happy Halloween from the team at V1! We hope everyone has a safe & memorable holiday.

Here’s to hoping that the scariest thing you encounter today is an empty candy bowl before the trick or treaters have finished making their rounds…not sewage backing up into your home or a catastrophic tank collapse.

If that DOES happen, well - you know who to call! (618) 961-3615

We responded to a service call in Alton after a customer’s aerator motor tripped offline, causing the control panel to start buzzing. Turns out, the culprit was quite unexpected…a child’s ‘Cars’ sock wrapped around the motor shaft; throwing everything off balance.

We removed the sock, reset the motor & got things back up & running.

The best part? The homeowners told us their son had flushed that exact sock years ago. They’d always wondered if it was still somewhere in the septic system!

Further proof that sometimes the things you flush don’t go quite as far as you think. 😂

Have you ever seen a project online & thought "hey, I can manage that myself”?

it to the professionals, we pinky promise.

The residents of Belleville really brought the heat to their annual chili cook off! 🌶️ The V1 crew got to hang out & enjoy fall’s (arguably) best soup after setting up our units.

Missed out on last weekend’s culinary competition? Don’t get your beans in a bunch, you can still whip up a batch at home on your own. Please don’t ask for a recipe…we just provide the restrooms, okay?!

Do you have an outdoor event coming up? Don’t wait until things get down to the wire, call us at (618) 961-3615 for quotes!

Little behind the scenes action on a residential septic system inspection! 🎬

Luke is using a pipe camera to inspect the inside of buried sewer lines for issues such as breaks in the pipe, improper slope of lines, root intrusions & bellies, which are sags in pipes where wastewater collects instead of flowing down toward the main sewer line.

We won’t be able to help you find the ring your wife accidentally flushed down the toilet…but we can help locate concerning issues that could lead to costly repairs if not caught early enough.

Not every portable restroom belongs on a construction site! There are plenty of occasions when having an extra restroom or two can save the day.

You’ve seen us at farmers markets, on highway projects, at local races…but did you know that we can also help with family reunions, graduations, even Quinceañeras?

Whatever the occasion; a big event or a small gathering, we’re here to make things a little easier for you & your guests.

It’s Friday, can you dig it?!

Are you getting ready to purchase a home that’s either new to you or new construction entirely? While not required by IL law, most local mortgage lenders & local county ordinances may request their own survey of your septic system to be completed before closing.

Contact us today for assessments, troubleshooting or if you just plain want to shoot the 💩!
