Our first skunk of the season. He had fallen down in the seed pits at Miller seed company. We safely got him out and relocated.

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet lately… things have been BUSY behind the scenes getting ready for a big season! 👀🔥

But we’ve got some exciting news…

🚨 We’ve got a NEW BILLBOARD going up in Lincoln! 🚨
We’re beyond excited to keep growing and reaching more people in the area. This is just the beginning of what’s coming!

If you see it, snap a pic and tag us — we’d love to see it out in the wild! 📸

It’s that time of year again…🦝

Raccoons are climbing, tearing, and squeezing their way into attics to have their babies.

If you’re hearing:
• Scratching at night
• Thumping or rolling sounds
• Heavy footsteps on your roof
• Insulation being moved

You may already have a mama raccoon nesting in your attic.

⚠️ Once babies are born, removal becomes more complex — and waiting can mean:
• Torn soffits & roof damage
• Contaminated insulation
• Strong odors
• Structural damage

Don’t wait until you see one in the kitchen 😳

Most people smell a skunk at 2AM and think one thing:

“Pest.”

But from late winter through spring, that smell often comes from a pregnant mother carrying 4–7 kits.

She isn’t out to cause trouble.
She’s out looking for food.

Skunks forage at night because it’s safer. They dig for grubs, beetles, and other lawn pests — removing thousands of insects every year. A single family can significantly reduce grub populations without a single chemical treatment.

When crawl spaces, decks, and sheds are sealed without checking, babies can be trapped inside — starving while the mother tries desperately to get back to them.

This is mating season.

Before you block access, seal openings, or call for removal:

• Check carefully for activity
• Watch for repeated nighttime visits
• Look for signs of nursing (swollen abdomen, frequent foraging)
• Contact wildlife professionals who use humane exclusion methods

Wildlife conflict often isn’t conflict at all.
It’s just a mother trying to raise her young.

CHECK BEFORE YOU SEAL. IT’S MATING SEASON.

🦨 Skunk Season Is Here! 🦨
It’s that time of year again — skunks are on the move and looking for warm, safe places to burrow under homes, sheds, decks, and crawl spaces.
Don’t wait until your house (or your dog!) gets sprayed. Once they move in, the smell can linger for weeks.
If you’re noticing:
✔️ A strong musky odor
✔️ Holes near your foundation
✔️ Noises under your deck or porch
✔️ Torn up yard from digging
Contact MO Critter Getter’s Wildlife Control right away for fast, professional removal.

🐾 IT’S BABY SEASON… & that means wildlife activity is on the rise! 🐾

Spring and early summer bring an increase in baby wildlife — and unfortunately, that often means animals finding their way into attics, crawlspaces, barns, sheds, and under decks.

We’re talking: • Raccoons with litters in attics
• Squirrels nesting in soffits
• Skunks under porches
• Bats in barns
• Opossums in crawl spaces
• Even groundhogs & beavers causing property damage

⚠️ During baby season, removal must be handled carefully and professionally. Separating a mother from her babies can create bigger problems — odor, damage, and distressed animals.

At MO Critter Getter’s Wildlife Control, we specialize in humane, effective wildlife removal during baby season. We do NOT handle insects — strictly nuisance wildlife only.
