Lint build up can keep your clothes from drying properly and even cause fires. Be sure to keep up with cleanings.

Remember to keep your lint screens clean. After every dry cycle pull your screen out and remove all lint that is present.

If your dryer vents through your garage in a non insulated area you are more likely to experience moisture build up. If you experience winters, then you are going to have frozen lint. Keeping up with cleanings will stop that from being a problem.

Dryer sheets can cause more strain on your system then you know. Residue can give lint something to get stuck to and result in more build up. If you do use dryer sheets use them sparringly.

If you have had your dryer for several years, chances are there is lots of lint in your machine. This can inhibit your dryer from working properly resulting in not so dry clothes, higher energy bills, and the scariest, a fire! Make sure to keep up with your dryer cleanings.
