The Warehouse Associate may perform a variety of tasks in receiving, picking, packing and shipping. The ideal candidate must be able to work in various departments and adapt quickly to a rapidly changing work load to support business needs.
Responsibilities
• Maintain high quality customer service by efficiently, accurately and quickly selecting orders
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in assigned work area, the facility and on company property
• Cross train, to meet workload needs and maintain company needs
• Handles incoming shipments and verifies that quality and quantity are correct
• Receives and unloads merchandise and checks for damaged goods
• Stocks primary item locations to effectively eliminate highlighting items for backorders
• Responsible for confirming orders are correct in a timely manner
• Conducts physical inventories as required
• Ensure items being packaged are not damaged or broken
• Weigh, measure and calculate package sizes as needed
• Meet and maintain company productivity and quality standards
• Able to work mandatory overtime as needed to complete customer orders
