If you’re hearing scratching, chewing, or running around in your attic… don’t ignore it.

We wanted to share a few photos from recent jobs where rodents caused thousands of dollars in damage to HVAC ductwork. Unfortunately, this is something we see all too often, and it usually starts with “we’ve been hearing something up there for a while.”

The problem won’t fix itself. Rodents reproduce incredibly fast—a female can become pregnant again within about 48 hours after giving birth, and a new litter can arrive in as little as 28 days. What starts as one or two rodents can quickly turn into a much bigger (and much more expensive) problem.

At Active Trapping, we don’t rely on poisons or rodenticides. We perform detailed inspections, humanely evict the rodents, and permanently seal the entry points with high-quality, finish-grade exclusion work to help keep them from coming back.
