This journey to becoming an entrepreneur is a long awaited dream to become a self made success in business by curating unique and truly innovative products, services, and entertainment solutions for everyday people and businesses one business at a time. EPD Companies says it all, we are one company with many companies starting with Cleanology Cleaning Company. This small business started in 2019 during Graduate School, while residing in Fayetteville, NC, as a means to help a friend and me earn enough money to meet our mutual need. To my surprise, Cleanology immediate escalated to the extent I had to bring on two additional cleaners to assist me with the demand. While I could not focus my attention solely on the newly formed business due to school, I worked hard to maintain it until I graduated and attempted to return to corporate America. It wasn’t long, three moves, three states, and an overwhelming amount of stress later, that I’d start to acknowledge and accept that I was meant to be an entrepreneur. So, in August 2022 in Cincinnati, Ohio Cleanology rose again and without delay instantly flourished. Q: What motivates you? What motivates me is what has always moved me- people. I have always genuinely possessed an undeniable desire and will to assist people in need. I am motivated to help businesses and people discover solutions to everyday to unique challenges they face. Starting my small business allows me to employ individuals and enable them to meet their financial obligations and provide for their family. When we clean homes we are often helping new mothers who, after nine months, find their hands too full to do the day to day cleaning. I am motivated by the elderly retired widow who works 1-2 times a month so she can afford to have her house professionally deep cleaned by Cleanology. Our cleaning service offers far more than just a clean space, we offer a helping hand and a little bit of peace of mind to our clients. That’s what motivates me and everyday I am afforded the opportunity to live out both my dream while also helping others meet their need and improve their lives and me and my small team get to make this happen every day.
