EXPERT Stain & Seal is the first exterior oil-based wood stain to be GREENWISE® certified. This certification means our product has been independently tested and verified to meet strict environmental standards.

This certification applies to 19 colors across 3 finishes: Transparent, Semi-Transparent, and Semi-Solid.

This is more than a certification.
It’s a commitment to doing things the expert way.

The GREENWISE® certification mark is your assurance that this product is environmentally preferred on the basis of its lower VOC content and lack of certain traditional chemicals in its formulation. It has been tested and certified by Coatings Research Group, Inc. (CRGI) to meet certain environmentally responsible standards.

Products bearing the GREENWISE® certification mark meet or exceed the paint and coatings VOC requirements of LEED® for most applications. GREENWISE® certified products do not contain certain chemicals that have been determined to be harmful to humans or our environment.

We just want to take a second and say thank you to Expert Stain & Seal for continuing to raise the bar in the wood care industry.

The #1 cause of premature deck and fence failure we see is improper pressure washing, leaving wood damaged like the example photos below.
