Here's a washing tip. Add a cup of vinegar to your fabric softner dispenser. This removes bacteria left in clothes and its a natural fabric softner. No your clothes will not smell like vinegar.

Well this isn't a laundry tip but a household tip. If you have a whirlpool bath tub and you haven't cleaned your jets in a while you want to do so.
1. Fill the tub past 2 inches past the jets. Put in 2 teaspoons of dishwasher powder or a tablet. ( Not the liquid you put in the sink the kind you put in the dishwasher.
2. Let your jets run for 15 minutes.
3. Let that water out and refill this time adding a cup of vinegar Fill tub 2 inches past jets. Let it run another 15 minutes.
4. Let that out fill tub again and add a cup of bleach fill 2 inches past jets and let them run for 15 minutes.

While you are in there soak your shower head in vinegar Put vinegar in a Ziploc bag and put the shower head in there and leave it overnight..

Ok here's your laundry tip for the week. To keep dark clothes holding their color. Wash them inside out on a cool tempertature setting.

I read a lot of articles and look up a lot of information on product why and when to use it. So since it's cold outside you may want to know about a little product in your kitchen cabinet that can get you out of car trouble. If your locks or doors freeze and you don't have a de-icer around use vinegar great de-icer. Why do I know this because vinegar is an excellent fabric softner.

If you pour instead of measure that detergent .. stop it. People often think they are allergic to a detergent when the fact is they use to much and they are wearing all that detergent which is not removed during the rinse cycle. When you use too much detergent you also cause the fabrics in your clothing to breakdown and wear faster. If you dry your laundry in a front load dryer that has a glass any you see the glass appear cloudy guess what you looking at....detergent.
