OK so I might be one person, but I do have a lot of clothes. And one of the things I hate is folding laundry. I came up with a system that helps my ADHD/OCD brain tackle it a little better.
Once I take my clothes out of the dryer, I put them all in a big basket, take that to the living room, throw on my favorite News program to have in the background or listen to a podcast, and then I sort my clothes into categories using the colored bins.
IE: socks bras and underwear in one bin, Halloween shirts, pants, Zumba clothes, T-shirts, and a bin for things that need to be hung up.
It might seem like it takes more time but this way I can knock out a bin at a time and once I remove them and fold them back up it gives me a sense of accomplishment. And I’m putting everything away in one category at time so it’s easier to put stuff away too!
What’s your laundry strategy?
