11/11/2025
Today isn’t just another day on the calendar. November 11th will always mean something to me. I had the honor of serving in the United States Marine Corps, and later continuing my service in the United States Army. Two uniforms, two cultures, two chapters of my life that shaped me into the man I am today.
The Marine Corps taught me intensity, discipline, and what it means to earn every step. The Army taught me adaptability, leadership, and how to stand steady no matter what life throws at you. Both taught me brotherhood, sacrifice, and the weight of carrying on when things get heavy.
But what they don’t prepare you for is life after the uniform comes off.
No formation.
No orders.
No mission laid out for you.
Just you, and the choice to keep pushing, keep growing, keep fighting your quiet battles.
And for me, that new mission became fatherhood.
My daughter is my purpose now. She’s the reason I work on myself every day. The reason I choose patience, accountability, and love, even when it’s hard. She saved parts of me I didn’t even realize were hurting.
To my fellow veterans, Marine, Soldier, Sailor, Airman, Coastie, I see you.
The strength. The silence. The stories only we understand.
We made it home. Keep going. Keep growing.
To those still serving, thank you.
To those we lost, we carry you every day.
Semper Fi.
Army Strong.
Always faithful. Always forward.
