Just over a year ago, I took a leap of faith and opened T. Bracken Pro Clean LLC.

As a solo cleaner, I built and maintained 42 recurring residential accounts and 4 commercial accounts across 3 counties. But more importantly, I built relationships with the people who welcomed me into their homes each week. I never viewed this work as “just cleaning.” It was about trust, care, consistency, and helping people feel comfortable in their spaces.

I truly loved what this business allowed me to do for my family.

In June, I married my best friend, and life took a beautiful turn. We packed up everything we owned and moved to a tiny town in the middle of the Mark Twain National Forest to put down roots and start our next chapter together.

What I didn’t fully realize was how different running a business here in Missouri would be. In Illinois, my clients and towns were close together. Here, communities are smaller and much farther apart, and the cost of travel combined with lower local wage expectations made it difficult to sustain the business model I had built.

Because of that, I’ve made the difficult decision to officially close T. Bracken Pro Clean LLC. As of today, my LLC has been terminated.

While this chapter is ending, I’m incredibly grateful for every client who trusted me, supported me, referred me, encouraged me, and allowed me to grow this business from the ground up. I will always carry that with me.

Moving forward, I will only be offering cleaning services through compassion cleans.

It all started with an ad to hire a cleaner — and what it turned into is a friendship that will last a lifetime.

When I met Hailey, I was simply looking to expand my business and hire a cleaner. But after hearing her story, I knew almost immediately that she was meant for something so much bigger.

Just a few weeks after meeting her, my family went on our first real vacation — one that changed everything. We found our forever home… in another state. My business, new yet thriving, suddenly had an expiration date. My schedule was fully booked through the end of the year, something any business owner would be proud of, but the excitement quickly turned into fear.

These weren’t just “clients.” I knew their kids and grandbabies, their routines and their stories. I’d been invited into their homes, their lives, their holidays. How could I possibly let them down?

In the middle of busy season, I still needed help, so I placed the ad and scheduled interviews. The fourth interview changed everything. Sitting across from me was a woman who reminded me so much of myself — a mom who wanted nothing more than to support her family financially, mentally, and emotionally. What was supposed to be a 30-minute interview turned into a four-hour business crash course.

I thought I was hiring seasonal help. Instead, I met a woman capable of running the whole show.

She wasn’t just “$20/hour for busy season.” She had the drive to go all the way. All she needed was opportunity — and I just so happened to have a list of clients I loved who needed someone I trusted.

She spent hours at my house after working all day, studying, researching, learning how to become a sole proprietor. When she made her first mistake, she didn’t quit. She simply said, “When can I go back and make it right?” Her heart is pure gold and her strength is unmatched. Every home we walked into together was treated with love, care, and appreciation for the family within its walls.

It started with an ad, and it grew into something incredibly beautiful.

Hailey, thank you — for being yourself, for loving my family, for the video chats, the laughs, the late-night planning, the encouragement, and the friendship. Because of this business, I was able to put my family first and purchase our first home. And now you get to write your own story.

I am so proud of you. I’m honored to know you. And I cannot wait to watch you grow.

Important Update: Early Closure of T. Bracken Pro Clean

Dear valued clients,

Due to an unexpected pest infestation, we’ve made the difficult decision to close T. Bracken Pro Clean earlier than planned. While this isn’t how we hoped to end our journey, it’s important to us to handle the issue responsibly and prioritize everyone’s safety.

All scheduled cleanings from this point forward will be redirected to Scrub Duo, who will continue providing service with the same care and standards you’re used to.

Important Update
As many of you know, we are preparing for our big move! Because of that, T. Bracken Pro Clean will officially be closing on November 20th.

All cleanings scheduled after November 20th will need to be booked directly through Scrub Duo(779-804-0770), who will be taking great care of my amazing clients moving forward.

I truly appreciate every one of you for your continued support and trust over the years — this isn’t goodbye, just a new chapter. 💙

Client stated that even when the bathroom was cleaned from her prior cleaner, that the restrooms still smelled of urine. We found the problem! Products used—odoban disinfectant and Lysol power clinging gel, pumice stone. I also used a crevice brush to get around the base of the toilet where urine likes to leak down and collect and a Rubbermaid electric scrub brush for tougher areas. Items will be linked below🫶🏻
