When I wash a house the first thing I do is wet the plants, its a shield on them for the sh that I use and soap I down stream on the siding, I use low pressure. The water and soap hit the siding like natural rain, I use a soft brush to scrub it than rinse . I rinse it well and also rinse the plants . Why do I down stream? So I dont get water behind siding that will do more harm then good. I do use a power washer only for the gpm to reach up to 4 stories.
