Termites really just built a private highway to the house buffet 😳
That thin trail running up the block is a termite mud tube.
Subterranean termites build these tunnels using soil, saliva, and bits of wood to travel between the ground and their food source. The covered passage helps protect them and keeps them from drying out.
Small tunnel = Big reason to pay attention!
Scraping it away won’t solve the problem and an empty tube doesn’t necessarily mean the termites are gone.
