Part 2 is here! 🦟

In Part 1, we found mosquito larvae breeding inside a backyard fountain. Instead of draining the water, we used an In2Care Mosquito Station along with targeted foliage treatments to help reduce the mosquito population.

Effective mosquito control isn’t just about spraying—it’s about targeting mosquitoes where they breed and where they rest.

🌼 All treatments are applied according to the product label. We treat only non-flowering, non-fruiting vegetation and apply treatments when pollinators are not actively foraging.

If mosquitoes are keeping you from enjoying your backyard, we’d be happy to help.

🌧️ Yesterday’s monsoon rain was a welcome sight, but it also left behind plenty of standing water.

While water collecting in agaves and other desert plants is just part of living in Southern Arizona, there are a few simple things homeowners can do to help reduce mosquito populations around their homes.

After every storm, take a few minutes to walk your property and empty any standing water from buckets, flower pots, toys, wheelbarrows, bird baths, and other containers. Mosquitoes can breed in surprisingly small amounts of water.

I enjoy sharing simple tips like this because a little prevention can go a long way. Hopefully it helps everyone enjoy their backyards a little more this monsoon season.

Stay safe out there, Tucson! 🌵🦟

🍔 You go to fire up the BBQ… and this is what you find. 🐀💩

Pack rats love to hide in barbecue grills because they’re dark, protected, and often sit unused for days or even weeks. Before your next cookout, take a quick look inside—you might save yourself an unpleasant surprise.

If you’re dealing with pack rats around your home, Goat Pest Solutions is here to help.

🚨 Caught this robber fly in the act! 👀

While servicing a home in Tucson, I came across this robber fly enjoying lunch after catching a bee with its pollen baskets still full.

Robber flies are active during Arizona’s hot summer months and are some of the desert’s most impressive aerial predators. They can catch other insects in mid-flight with incredible speed and precision.

You never know what you’ll find while working pest control in Southern Arizona.

Have you ever seen a robber fly before?

Rattlesnake season is in full swing out here in Tucson / Oro Valley 😳
Was out doing rodent inspections today and came across this guy rattling away inside an agave.
This time of year it’s very common — where you have rodents, you’re usually going to find snakes nearby.
Keeping rodents under control is one of the best ways to make your yard safer.
