25 years ago today, America changed forever. If you're old enough, you remember exactly where you were and what you were doing that morning. Let us truly sit in that moment and reflect.
September 11, 2001 was not simply an attack on our nation. It was a day that tested our resolve, challenged our spirit, and revealed the extraordinary courage that exists in ordinary people.
Today, we remember the thousands of lives lost and the loved ones they left behind. We remember the heroes who answered the call without hesitation, running toward danger to help complete strangers.
To every firefighter, police officer, EMS provider, military member, and Good Samaritan who has ever put service above self, thank you. Your willingness to stand between danger and those in need embodies the very best of our country.
As we reflect on this anniversary, let us all honor the memory of those we lost by carrying forward the values of courage, sacrifice, service, and perhaps most importantly; UNITY.
May God Bless America, and may we all be called to love one another just a little bit more.
