💰 Why are our prices so reasonable? It’s pretty simple.
We’re a small, family-owned business. We don’t have a big sales team, fancy offices, or a lot of overhead to pay for every month.

That means we’re able to keep our prices fair while still doing quality work we’re proud to stand behind.

Our goal has never been to be the biggest chimney company around. We just want to do honest work, treat people right, and charge a fair price.

Most folks think a chimney sweep just cleans chimneys.

Truth is, we're looking at a whole lot more than soot. Every job gives us a chance to look over the entire chimney and catch little things for you before they become expensive ones.

Sometimes we find something that needs fixing. Sometimes we don't.

Here's a little before and after from a job last week.
Doesn't look like much from the ground, does it? 🫤

What did we do? We replaced the chimney caps and put a fresh crown coat on to help protect the top of the chimney.

Most folks don't spend much time looking at the top of their chimney... and I don't blame them. 🥱😆 But that's where a lot of water problems get their start. New chimney caps help keep rain, birds, and critters 🦝🦉🐦🐄 out, and a fresh crown coat helps protect the top of the chimney from the weather.

It's one of those jobs most people never notice, but a little maintenance now can save you from a much bigger repair down the road.

Buying a home is exciting, and a general home inspection is one of the smartest things you can do. But here’s something many people don’t realize…

A general home inspection usually includes a visual look at the chimney. It doesn’t always include the more detailed inspection that’s recommended when a home changes ownership. After all, you probably aren't sure to what extent they have maintained their chimney.

That means things like cracked flue tiles, damaged chimney liners, hidden water damage, or deterioration inside the chimney may not be visible during a standard inspection. 😬

It doesn’t mean your home inspector missed something. It simply means chimneys are their own specialty, just like plumbing, electrical, or HVAC.

If you’re buying or selling a home, a separate chimney inspection can give everyone a little more confidence before closing day.

Yesterday we asked what Steve was doing. Some of those answers were pretty good. 😄

Actual answer? He’s installing a stainless steel chimney liner.

Most homeowners never see this part because it ends up hidden inside the chimney. But it’s one of the most important parts of the entire system. A properly installed liner helps your fireplace vent safely, improves efficiency, and protects the chimney from heat and corrosion.

Every home is a little different, so not every chimney needs one. But when it does, it’s a repair that’s well worth doing right!

The answer is… not always. 🤔

What we DO recommend is having your chimney inspected every year, especially if you burn wood 🔥🪵 regularly.

Sometimes a chimney needs cleaned. Sometimes it doesn’t. 🤷

A good inspection tells us exactly what condition your chimney is in, so you’re not paying for work you don’t actually need. 🤑

Our goal isn’t to sell you a chimney cleaning. Our goal is to make sure your chimney is safe. That’s how we’ve always done business.
