We've been posting a lot of spiders lately. We'd apologize, but apparently they're EVERYWHERE. 😂🕷️

And this guy? He was just hanging out at a customer's place like he owned the joint.

Sir, do you have an appointment? 😂

The good news? Brett doesn't mind dealing with uninvited guests!

If you've got a few too many eight-legged visitors hanging around, give Heritage Pest Control a call!

Fall is a great time to check more than just the weather! 🍂

As temperatures start to drop, insects and other pests begin looking for places to shelter. And sometimes, the smallest openings around your home are all they need.

A few simple things to check this fall:

🍂 Window and door screens for holes or damage
🍂 Gaps around windows, doors, and utility lines
🍂 Worn weatherstripping and door sweeps
🍂 Leaves and debris collecting near your foundation

Taking care of these little things now can help prevent bigger pest problems later.

And remember, routine pest control isn't just about treating a problem after it starts. It's about helping protect your home throughout the year.

What does the pest control guy do when he’s not busy getting pests under control? 🌽

This time of year, you’ll probably find Brett in the combine!

Pest control may be the business, but farming is still a big part of life around here. And during harvest, we know firsthand just how busy our farm and ag customers are.

From our farm to yours, stay safe out there and have a great harvest! 🚜🌽

You never know what Brett's going to find on an inspection! 🐍🐭

During a recent inspection, Brett came across not one, but TWO unexpected visitors...a snake and a mouse!

Naturally, he caught them both, put them in a bucket, and made sure to get a video. Because apparently, that's just part of the job now! 😂

From rodents to the occasional surprise guest, no two days are quite the same at Heritage Pest Control.

Have some unwanted visitors of your own? Give us a call! We'd be happy to help you show them the door.

Apparently they called a meeting. 🕷️🕷️🕷️
Unfortunately for them, Brett was invited too.

As temperatures cool, spiders and other pests start looking for protected places to settle in. Your home, garage, shop, or business can look pretty inviting this time of year.

If you’re noticing more unwanted guests, Heritage Pest Control can help take care of the ones already there and put preventative treatments in place to help keep more from moving in.

Because this is one meeting you definitely don’t want happening at your place. 😬

Rain, rain, and more rain... 🌧️
After several weeks of wet weather, we’re finally seeing some sunshine! ☀️

And all that rain brought up a great question from a customer:
“What happens if it rains after you spray?”

We try to avoid exterior applications when rain is in the forecast and will work with you to reschedule when necessary. But once the product has had time to dry, rain generally won’t affect how well the treatment works.

And remember, if you have pest issues between your regularly scheduled treatments, just give us a call. We’ll come back and treat the problem area at no additional charge.

Our goal isn’t just to spray and leave. It’s to help keep pests under control throughout the season.
Have a question about how our treatments work? Send us a message or give Brett a call at 712-210-1114.

Nope. Absolutely not. 😂🕷️
When the spider is big enough that you can hear it walking...

That's your sign to call Heritage Pest Control.

Already have pests? We'll help take care of them.
Want to keep them from moving in? We can help with that, too.

You asked...and we’re coming through! We’ve had people ask about the bait stations Brett uses, so they’re officially for sale!

Brett, with a little help from Annie’s dad 😉, designed these compact bait stations for use around garages, shops, outbuildings, furnace rooms, and more.

🐭 Prefilled with two bait flavors
🐾 Pet resistant
🔄 Refillable
🎨 Can be painted for more discreet placement

And the timing is perfect...once this rain clears and the combines start rolling, we all know the mice will be looking for somewhere to move in!

$10 each or 5 for $40.
