Laundry tip from a professional cleaner.
Separate your rags! 🧺
Microfiber, this needs to be washed and dried on a cool setting. Microfiber has plastic in it and will melt in high temperatures.
Terry cloth can be washed on hot setting and with other things like vacuum filters and Sponges.
Don’t dry filters or spongers.
You cannot use fabric softener on microfiber. I don’t use fabric softener at all it takes a toll on the washer and dryer as well.
I use vinegar as a order remover and a softener.

How well do you know vinegar? It is a staple in any green cleaning arsenal, but here's a recap of what it is AND what it isn't.

Vinegar IS:
> An acid, which is important to know when mixing with other ingredients or using on acid-sensitive surfaces.
> The result of a double fermentation of sugar to alcohol and then alcohol to acetic acid.
> Most commonly available at a dilution of 5% acetic acid. "Cleaning vinegar" can be as concentrated as 30%.
> Great at lifting small amounts of grease.
> Great for leaving shiny surfaces streak free.
> Great for deodorizing & softening fabrics when used as a rinse aid in the fabric softener compartment.

Vinegar is NOT:
> A disinfectant. While it can kill some microbes, it can't kill enough types to be relied upon.
> A good mixer with Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap or Sal Suds. Great separate. Not together.

Pumice stones make cleaning so much easier and they are nontoxic too!
🧼Make sure it’s safe to use it on your surface and test a small area.
🧼Make sure your surface is wet
🧼Soak the pumice stone for 5 minutes in water before use and keep it wet while using
🧼You can add a cleaning agent if you want (like I did in this video) but you don’t have to!
