Repainted design and lettering + cleaning on Granite Headstone for Terry Benton. Terry’s been gone now for over 35 years. Amazing how quickly time has passed. Terry is remembered by his sister Teresa and her husband Steve.

Leamon J. Cagle, (WWII & Korean War Combat Veteran & P.O.W. From 1950-1953). I found his Bronze Veteran burial foot marker propped up on his headstone. It had been ran over, damaged, neglected, and jarred loose by a lawnmower.
Like many Veterans, many of us over time are not only overlooked but forgotten. People from time to time will ask what gives me the desire to want to clean markers? I just remind myself of a quote I once read:
“Dying for your Country isn’t the worst thing that can happen, being forgotten is”…. So, I guess I don’t want these Men & Women forgotten. They’ve earned the Right to be remembered.
