Education: You must have a high school diploma or equivalent. Additional education is a bonus.

Skills: You must be proficient in using small hand tools, taking field measurements, and able to work in the outdoor environment year-round.

Job Duties
Team Player: You support your team lead and make sure your work is completed efficiently.

Expertise: You must be detail oriented and able to keep job specific notes. You must be able to travel the state as you collect wastewater samples and meet the time constraints for turning in samples on time. You must be able to work alone and be self-driven.

Professional: You will keep your tools neat, clean, and well-maintained so they are handy and ready for use. You will learn to prepare job reports so the customer and the team are kept informed.

Work ready: You will need a clean driving record, a ready-to-work attitude, can pass a background check, and have no problem handling the physical demands of the job. You also understand that we are an onsite wastewater company, so rolling
up your sleeves and getting a little dirty is no problem for you. Perform other
duties as assigned.

Successful completion of a pre-employment background and substance screening process including, but not limited to, employment verifications, criminal search, and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) search as well

Field Technician / Septic System Installer

Job Overview

MEINCO is seeking to fill the position of a Field Technician to assist installing septic systems. The job requires proficiency in small hand tools, basic plumbing skills, basic electrical skills, and the ability to support to the Lead Installer in all aspects of a septic system installation. With experience, the role of Field Technician can develop into the Lead Installer role. The Field Technician position is an integral part of MEINCO’s continued growth.
Responsibilities and Duties

Support Lead Installer in all aspects of a septic system installation
Provide “grade” using transit and rod
Maintain work vehicle, trailer and equipment as required
Other duties as deemed necessary

Requirements

High School Diploma (additional education preferred but not required)
Current Arkansas driver’s license and a clean driving record
Experience in basic plumbing and electrical skills
Proficient in using an AGL laser, (i.e. basic surveying skills to establish grade)
Ability to read technical specifications and field drawings
Self-motivated
Must be able to work year-round in any outdoor environment
Technology literate. Ability to utilize company mobile phone or tablet (will be provided) to manage daily activities and communication between other team members

Educational Training

You will be required to get the following licenses within 12 months of employment unless already obtained.
Arkansas Department of Health Installer License
Any additional training deemed necessary
