Pool & Spa Technician Wanted – Experienced Only
All About Pools & Spas – Springfield / Branson Area

We’re looking to add an experienced Pool & Spa Technician to our growing team at All About Pools & Spas. This is a hands-on position for someone who already knows their way around pools and hot tubs and takes pride in doing clean, reliable work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Pool openings & closings
Diagnosing and repairing equipment (pumps, heaters, plumbing, etc.)
Filter cleanings (sand, DE, cartridge)
Hot tub service & troubleshooting
Maintaining water chemistry
Communicating clearly with management and documenting work

🔧 Requirements:
Prior experience in pool/spa service (not entry level)

Strong troubleshooting skills
Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
Professional attitude and attention to detail

Regular maintenance is key to preventing costly issues down the line. A recent job in Branson showed just how important this is:

A broken pump basket caused a suction leak, leading to low pressure and poor filtration. After diving deeper, we discovered debris—including what looked like a rubber wedding band—clogging the impeller and blocking water flow.

We cleared the impeller, restored full functionality, and got the system running properly again.

⚡ Pump Electrical Repair & Installs ⚡

Just finished up a job for a customer here in Springfield, MO. The old power cord on her pool pump was burnt and damaged — and you never want to assume it’s just the cord.

Before installing a new plug, we ran a full test on the motor (ohms and resistance) to make sure everything was safe and in good working order. Once everything checked out, we installed the new cord and got her pump running smoothly again.

🔧 Hot Tub Rescue in Omaha, AR! 🔧

We got an urgent call from Whitney — their Garden Spa hot tub had suddenly lost power right in the middle of a special anniversary celebration with guests! 😬

They had already checked the sub panel breaker, which seemed fine, but there was still no power to the spa.
Our technician responded quickly and tracked down the issue — inconsistent voltage was coming into the hot tub. After checking upstream, we discovered a floating neutral wire at the main breaker panel.

✅ We safely repaired the connection
