If youā€™re cleaning in someoneā€™s house, and you break something, or something fell, or you knocked over a Legoā€¦ TELL THEM. If itā€™s not an expensive item, send a replacement to their door.
If itā€™s an expensive item, HAVE INSURANCE.
We are not perfect as cleaners, and accidents happen, but what you do after makes the difference.
Today I arrived at a clients house, and one of her watering globes outside broke. Did I clean it up? Absolutely. The outside isnā€™t my area to clean, but Iā€™m not letting any of my clients little ones cut their foot on glass, not on my watch. Thought I was done with glass, but I ended up setting down a glass teapot on the counter and the lid cracked. New teapot is on the wayšŸ«– right after I told her it happened. Placed the order in the kitchen.

I know Iā€™ll never be perfect, but if I strive for perfection Iā€™ll provide excellence, every time.āœØ

If a cleaner is wanting to do a free add on service for a holiday present in addition to something else, what would you pick?šŸ‘€
1.) stove deep clean
2.) baseboard detail
3.) 1 hour holiday prep on day of regular clean
4.) 1 hour house management on day of regular clean
5.) basement or bedroom add on (if applicable)

Questions I am asking in assessments that others look at me weird for:
1.) Are you, your family members, or your pets allergic to anything?
I want to make sure that if youā€™re allergic to a chemical Iā€™m not using it. Closer to the holidays I plan on bringing some goodies around, and the last thing I want is someone to be subjected to something theyā€™re not supposed to.
2.) Is anyone in the home sensitive to smells?
As a mom with Chronic Migraines, I can assure you that if it hurts you, itā€™s not coming with me. I use 2 different scents through the year. One is a lavender smell, and another is an orange/vanilla smell. Both are mild enough to not cause any issues, but made well enough that they stick around.
3.) Can you tell me things that your last cleaner did that you enjoyed seeing every time?
Iā€™ve heard it all. Some people want their pillows chopped a certain way, some people want their bedding folded down, some people just want their trashcan fingerprint free. Whatever you like, Iā€™m here to provide. I can confidently say, that I will meet or surpass your standards.

Full house reset clean for a client Iā€™ve had for almost a yearšŸŽ€ Her and her husband decided to get this on the schedule 2 months in advance to line up with school starting, and some family things going on.
And yes, this is the only after picture. Why? Because I was there for a collective 13 hours!

No matter what, Iā€™ll get the job done. Will I have pictures? Sometimes.šŸ¤£šŸ˜­
