It is with the utmost sadness in my heart I share with all of you that my good friend and long term employee, Roger, passed away yesterday. Of my nearly 20 years in the janitorial business I had Roger with me for 16.5 of those years. He has been an anchor here. The man that showed up when others wouldn't. He would work with me until the morning when our clients were coming in to get all of the work done. Roger was one of a kind. He was good to me but also to his fellow coworkers. Numerous times over the years he has gone out of his way to give others a ride to work, listen to them, actually care about their issues, and help any way he could. Roger will be missed immensely. Please keep his wonderful wife in your thoughts and prayers as she navigates this world without her life partner. I have known them since 1994, well before this business existed. He had a 40 year career with a big company. After retirement he found himself needing some extra income after they took away his pension and healthcare and that is when he came to work with me. He worked just last week. It is hard to fathom that he is gone this week.

Immediate need....

Looking for a reliable, detail-oriented person for janitorial cleaning work in the evenings. Please apply if you are looking for a part-time position and have reliable transportation.
We currently need someone to work 20-30 hours per week or 2 people to work 10-15 hours per week. We offer on the job training and somewhat flexible nightly start time once training is complete.

Belleville Area Kiwanis is proud to support our amazing BHS Football team as we enter them in the Dragonboat Race for the upcoming Lakefest! This group of men put Belleville High on the map this past football season and we look forward to a winning team this Fall! Memorial Day commemorates the men and women who died while in the military service of their country, particularly those who died in battle or as a result of wounds sustained in battle. In other words, the purpose of Memorial Day is to memorialize the veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country. We spend time remembering those who lost their lives and could not come home, reflecting on their service and why we have the luxury and freedom that we enjoy today. We might consider how we can support and safeguard their grieving families and loved ones who are left behind.
