Policy Updates
We are so blessed and grateful for all your business, shout outs and referrals! We are growing every day and are excited to welcome new clients to the Southern Charmed family! Unfortunately, we’re at the point to where new policies must be made. Square payments are coming soon. We will still be primarily through Venmo requests; However, a card will be required to be on file through
square for all clients.
• Cancellations: Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of cleaning appointment. We allow one grace occurrence for emergencies. We schedule teams and number of employees working based on the load of that day. If a cancellation is made less than 24 hours before your cleaning day/time, you will be charged 45% of your cleaning price that is due immediately and your card on file with square will be charged. * We do understand emergencies happen and we will work with these within reason.
• Payments: If you are not leaving a check, you must complete Venmo request for payment by the time your cleaning team arrives at your home. We are having too many not pay invoices for days at a time and we are getting too busy to constantly chase down payments. So, from 4/15/21 forward, Venmo payments must be received by the time the cleaning team arrives at your home (or as soon as they get there); if payment is not received at that time, your card on file with square will be charged. Until we have square up and operating (and all clients have their cards on file), if payment is not completed at the time your cleaners arrive, they will be redirected to the next client and you will be charged the 45% cancellation fee. I send Venmo requests between 6:30-8:00 AM, the day of the cleaning. You are welcome to send payment yourself and not wait on request. You are also welcome to pay for the month at one time; we have several that do this, and I keep track of everyone’s payments in their files and my P&L sheet.
•Quotes: Once your quote is emailed to you, please make sure that you look over everything and that you are satisfied with the items on that quote. We can always remove items, replace items with something else or add items and revise prices. Once you ask to be put on the schedule, you are accepting your quote. This means, the cleaning team is only going to do the items on that quote list. (Ex: if your quote says floors only for your office- that means they will only do the floors). We can swap reasonable things at the time of cleanings, but these must be approved and discussed with Mandy Allen beforehand so that the team knows what is to be completed at your home. We will not add on requests to quotes unless previously discussed and prices adjusted if needed.
