The air is finally cool…and the calendar stays busy 😉

Q4 has completely blown me away. I have had the opportunity to do some incredible things like…

✨Go to LAX for the very first time, attending the Create & Cultivate Festival + being the Creative Director at The EnSuite | Invite-Only Residency for Women Founders

✨ Onboarded new clients (more juicy deets to come!)

✨Celebrated The A List Staffing’s 50th anniversary

✨ Had dinner with Jennifer Brown | Lifestyle Storyteller — a friend I met at Create & Cultivate!

✨ Facilitated a round table discussion at the Foundation for Better Business She Means Business Conference

✨ Had lunch with my friend Rickeeta Wax at the Google office downtown (coolest experience and even better views!!)

✨ Lastly (but certainly not least) taking the day off to enjoy the BEAUTIFUL fall air at a fall festival in Georgetown with my bestie, Trinity Miller-Aragon | Culture & Strategy Advisor

Oops… calling myself out today 🤦🏻‍♀️

I had a meeting this morning at Create & Cultivate with another founder, and she told me she was waiting to meet Erin…

Hi! Hello! That’s me! 😂🤪

My hair is up today, which I rarely do, and the headshot I submitted for the event has my hair down.

And of course, as the personal brand strategist, this immediately had me thinking about my own personal brand photos. 😬

We put SO much thought into getting the perfect headshot… but it’s also worth thinking about whether the photos you’re using actually represent how people experience you in real life.

Your brand photos should be polished and elevated, but they should still look and feel like YOU.

Think about the way you normally wear your hair, your makeup, and your clothing, along with how you might show up differently for a speaking event versus a networking event. Having a variety of photos that capture those different sides of you can make your personal brand feel that much more recognizable and cohesive.

Butttt apparently I also need to add a hair-up look to my next brand shoot. 😂
