🙏🏽Honoring the Walking Monks:
Day 87 🙏🏽
On October 26, 2025, a group of Vietnamese Buddhist monks began a long walk for peace. They started at the Huong Dao Vipassana Bhavana Center in Fort Worth, Texas, stepping out with intention, discipline, and devotion.
Today is Day 87 of their journey.
They’ve walked more than 2,000 miles, crossing state lines on foot and carrying a message of compassion and unity across this country. As of a few days ago, they reached North Carolina, still moving steadily toward their destination:
Washington, D.C.
And they are doing all of this during a record‑breaking winter across the United States — walking through freezing temperatures, harsh winds, and unpredictable conditions with nothing but faith, focus, and purpose guiding every step.
This is a pilgrimage.
A moving prayer.
A quiet offering of peace in a loud world.
I lift them up with gratitude and protection.
May their steps stay strong.
May their path stay safe.
May their purpose continue to touch every person who learns about this journey.
If you didn’t know, now you do.
Honor the walk. Honor the intention. Honor the peace they’re carrying forward.
