Installing shiplap siding to match siding on house built in 1890. The first picture shows the flashing we put at bottom of wall where it connects to old porch floor to prevent water damage. Next pictures show how we put caulking behind all joints. Last set of pictures show our window trim details. Tape first, back side of trim is cut on back edge to allow for window fl**ge, bottom trim has a 5 degree bevel so water will run off, caulking behind all trim, flashing on top trim.
