As we enter a week of below freezing temperature, here are a few friendly reminders for our friends with swimming pools. Don't let your pool equipment end up looking like the picture below.
Be safe and stay warm.
- The most important thing is to keep your pool equipment
running 24/7!
- You can tarp your pool equipment and weight the perimeter of
the tarp down . With the pool motor running constantly, it can
generate heat to keep the equipment warm.
- If ice starts to form on the water, break it up and/or put an
inflatable float in the pool.

The calendar says December 21st if the first day of winter, but the weather man is occasionally throwing some California-like temperatures our way. Be prepared for when a hard freeze actually hits our area.
