About Me
Hi, I’m Heather, the proud owner of Clean Slate!
I believe it’s important to not just offer a service, but to build a real connection with the people who trust me to care for their homes.
For those of you who don’t already know me, here’s a little about who I am and why I started this journey.
Before launching my business, I spent over 10 years in the medical field as an ophthalmic technician. After a lot of thought and prayer, I decided it was time to pursue something I truly enjoy — helping people by bringing peace, order, and comfort into their homes.
I’ve always had a natural eye for detail and a deep love for cleaning. Honestly, it’s more than a task for me — it’s my way of relieving stress, easing anxiety, and putting my heart and energy into something positive. I’m very particular (thanks to a little OCD!) and I take great pride in making spaces shine.
Beyond the work itself, I believe trust is everything. Inviting someone into your home is personal, even vulnerable, and I don’t take that lightly. I carry myself with confidence because I know I am trustworthy, dependable, and respectful of every space I enter.
I also have a strong background with children — from working over a decade at Children’s Hospital, to being a preschool teacher, to raising my own wonderful daughter. Children, pets, families — they all have a special place in my heart. (Fun fact: I’m absolutely obsessed with we**ie dogs — they’ve been part of my life since childhood!)
Outside of cleaning, I’m creative by nature. I love crafting, photography, and I’m always finding new ways to stay busy and inspired. When I set my mind to something, I give it my all — full heart, full effort, no shortcuts.
I’m blessed to be engaged to my best friend (soon-to-be married on October 11th!) and we live our lives putting God first. Our faith and family mean everything to us.
Thank you for considering me to be part of your home and your life. I can’t wait to meet you and show you the love and care I bring to every home I clean!
— Heather
