My mom was murdered in October.

Just two weeks ago, her husband was finally arrested and charged with her murder.

What many of you also didn’t know is that I’ve spent every single day since her death fighting for justice. And as a result, I fell behind on the day-to-day work of running the small business I started when I was just 17 years old.

I hope you all know how much I love this business. I love cleaning. I love our clients. I love our team. But for a while, my heart and mind had to be elsewhere.
To anyone I may have let down—I’m truly sorry. I haven’t been the best business owner lately, but I’m working hard to get back on track. Your patience and support mean more than I can ever express.

Now that justice for my mom has begun, I’ll be able to focus more on my business and have stronger communication with our clients and future clients.

While I’m here, I want to share something special:
This past Saturday would have been my mom’s 47th birthday. In her honor, I announced the launch of a nonprofit I’m starting in her name—Hope.

On October 11th - My mom was admitted to the hospital.

On October 14th at 2:04 PM- The doctors concluded she was legally brain dead.

On October 17th- I was able to lay with my mom for the last time, before they wheeled her away for organ donation.

On October 25th- I saw her for the last time, before being cremated.

On November 5th- My aunt passed away.

On November 11th, I picked up my mom’s ashes.

I wanted to let our clients know about what has been going on in my life the last month or so.. Since you’re all like family to me.

Although my life is crazy right now,
We’re still accepting new clients. I know, I’ve been a little bit ‘out of it’ the last month or so. & I apologize if I forgot to get back with you, or have been late in responding.

I wanted to take a moment to explain why I might have been unresponsive if you messaged for a cleaning in the last few months. This isn’t like me, and you all deserve to know the truth about the hardest time of my life.

I got a call, that my mom had spent 3 days in the ICU. I was told she didn’t have much time left.. So, I spent weeks grieving her impending death.

A few weeks later, I learned my mom was being physically abused by her husband. My mother was not only dying, but her husband was physically abusing her.

For weeks, then, I was by her side.
If I wasn’t with her, I was on the phone with her.
I was afraid for her life, every single night that she was with him. I could hardly sleep, just waiting to get a call from an officer, telling me he had killed her…
Every. Night.

[Eventually, I learned that she wasn't dying, or sick, ever.. It was a lie that her husband concocted. The real reason she was in the ICU, was due to her husbands abuse]

One night, her husband tried to hit me 3x in a row. When the cops arrived, he (conveniently) laid on the ground twitching. The officer said,
“I’m not sure what that is, but I’m 95% sure it’s BS.” & An ambulance took him to the ER. It was at this time, she decided to leave.. So, at 2:30 AM, we packed up her stuff, moved her out & she came home with me. She was doing great, and it was like I finally had my mom back for the first time.

Unfortunately, she was manipulated into going back to him about a month & a half ago. It only took a few days of her being back before the abuse started again.

— This is just a small portion of everything that’s happened the last 7 months.😅
As you can imagine, this took a big toll on my emotional & mental health.. & I just kind of shut down.

Now, I’m doing a lot better. Trying my best to pick up the pieces 🥺

It might not look like a lot on the cart, but there were 2 completely filled totes, a box and a few paper bags filled with donations 😊

I’m a bit late on dropping off the items, but… for good reason. I’ve been reorganizing spaces in my home, and rounding up as many items as possible to donate! 😁🎉
