Even if you've had a cleaning service for years, I always begin with an initial deep clean.

Every cleaner has a different standard, different products, and different attention to detail. An initial clean allows me to get everything up to my standards before moving into routine maintenance cleanings.

This shower is a perfect example. At first glance it didn't look too bad, but once I got started, I noticed this thick film. Over time, that buildup dulls the shine and can be difficult to remove if it's not addressed properly.

After some elbow grease and the right products, it went from cloudy and coated to clean, clear, and shining again. ✨

A maintenance cleaning is designed to maintain a home that's already at a certain level. An initial clean is where the real restoration happens—and it's often where the biggest difference can be seen.

That's why I never skip this step for new clients. It gives me the opportunity to create a clean foundation that I can consistently maintain moving forward 😊

My fiancé’s truck mirrors were covered in stubborn water stains and buildup. I used Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser and they came out completely restored 🙌🏻

It’s one of those products I always keep in my cleaning kit because it works on so many different surfaces when used properly.

As a professional cleaner, I love finding simple solutions that make a huge difference. The small details really do change the overall look and feel of something clean 🚘✨

A few months ago, on January 2nd, I took a huge leap and started my solo cleaning business. I walked away from a job that made me feel undervalued, overworked, and unappreciated. A place that forgot the most important parts of this industry — care, respect, trust, and understanding. It was one of the hardest decisions I’ve made, but it ended up being the best one. Deep down, I knew I wanted to build something different.

Since then, life has been moving fast in the best way possible. I turned 30 right before Christmas, I’m planning my wedding with my amazing fiancé, and at the same time I’ve been building this business completely on my own from the ground up. A solo cleaning business that reflects who I am, how I work, and the standards I believe in.

To now have 20 amazing clients, with 2 more estimates still to do, honestly feels surreal. And I can’t believe I’m saying this already— but as of right now, I am no longer accepting clients.

I’m beyond proud of myself for taking the risk and believing in what I could create. Taking the risk to bet on myself changed my life. I’m so grateful I had the courage to walk away from something that was not only disorganized and lacked respect, but a job that truly never appreciated the care I put into it. No job is worth feeling unsafe, unsupported, or undervalued.

Choosing myself forced me to grow, trust my abilities, and realize that I was capable of building something better. I get to slow down and truly care for my clients and their homes instead of rushing through people like they’re just another number. I get to focus on the details, build real relationships, and create an experience where people feel comfortable, supported, and cared for in their own space.

Watching my schedule fill up and my business continue to thrive has been such a rewarding feeling. This business is so much more than “just cleaning” to me. It’s trust. It’s consistency. It’s helping people feel lighter when life gets overwhelming. It’s creating peace in the spaces people come home to every single day.

To every client who has supported me, referred me, left kind reviews, recommended me to friends and family, or simply trusted me enough to let me into your home — thank you. Truly. Your support has helped me build something I once only dreamed about.

And I especially want to thank my parents and my fiancé for being my biggest supporters. I love you all so much.

Starting over was scary, but choosing myself was worth it.

The key to organizing paperwork isn’t creating a perfect system—it’s creating one that feels easy enough to use on your busiest, most unmotivated days.

👉 If it requires too many decisions, too many steps, or too much effort, it won’t last. The goal is to reduce friction: fewer categories, one consistent place for incoming paper, and a setup that’s easy to access and quick to maintain.

Most papers don’t need to be kept, and the ones that do should be simple to file.

👉 Organization isn’t about getting it all perfectly in place once—it’s about having a system that you can keep up with consistently without overthinking it.
