More Monday Musings with a Doo Dad.

I was thinking about Labor Day and what it means to be a "worker," which led me to think about the example I am trying be for my kids.

Taking the easy route may feel good in the short term, but will ultimately cause a lot of pain.

The hard route is where things get interesting. Sure, it may not be a lot of fun in the short term, but it will ultimately give more rewards. Doing the hard thing builds inner strength no one can take from you. It forces you to constantly reflect on yourself and decide who you want to be.

Do you push through or give up? Do you stick it out or throw in the towel. Are you a quitter or a winner?

Do the hard thing. Push through, stick it out, strive to win.

P.S. There's no crying in baseball.
