It is tiring to always have to worry if your wardrobes are going to grow molds. It is also tiring to have to do a wipe down regularly. Here is a quick low effort hack you can adopt to ensure dry and clean clothes over long periods of time!
Use silica gel packs! But do not just dump them in the wardrobe and expect it to work.. Make sure you store your clothes in tightly sealed boxes (Non-porous materials like plastic) together with the silica gel pack, this is so in that small space, the silica is able to absorb moisture from a constant fixed environment. If your storage space allows air to flow, you can expect the moisture to follow as well, essentially wasting your silica packs away!
Make sure to check every now and then to see if the silica packs work. Used up silica packs weigh slightly heavier than their original state, once heavier, do swap them out for new ones! If your silica gel pack is always heavy quick, you may want to check if your storage box is doing its job!
