[HOW TO GET TO GK NTC VILLAGE]

Coming from North Metro Manila:
- Go to QC Circle and turn to Commonwealth Ave. When you reach Toyota Commonwealth, take the first right turn. GK NTC is to a passageway on the left side of the street (green fence, across car wash).

Coming from South Metro Manila:
- Take EDSA to Trinoma, then turn to North Avenue and go through it until you go to QC Circle. Take a right turn to Commonwealth Ave. and when you reach Toyota Commonwealth, take the first right turn. GK NTC is to a passageway on the left side of the street (green fence, across car wash).

Celebrate Quezon City Day by spending time with our brothers and sisters in GK NTC Village and stretching your limbs for nation-building!

Join UP ARISE and the Gawad Kalinga volunteers in continuing their mission of building communities to end poverty this Sunday, August 19, 2012...

ACTIVITIES:
House Build

- Shoveling/Leveling
- Hollow block handling

Paraisong Pambata
- Story-telling
- Traditional Filipino games
NOTE: 50 children. Hope you can bring educational materials (books, crayons, school supplies. etc.) as prizes for the games please. Any quantity will do, we will pool our resources.

Boodle Lunch
- Sumptuous eat-out with the community. Comes with banana leaves and a healthy serving of kamayan, Pinoy-style :)
