“In The Beginning- Let Us make man… Let them have Control over all the earth and over Every Creeping Thing that creeps on the earth.”

The year was 1995, coming home from a 6-year contract with the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) as District Veterinary Officer in Lesotho, South Africa, our founder Dr. Cielito Cometa discovered that termites had infested their ancestral house in the province. He looked for a pest control company that would service their house. He searched but there was none who would want to service one house too far.

In desperation, he was forced to take the weeklong pest control seminar, topped the exams for the licensure, hired people and later treated their ancestral house himself.

After that treatment, neighbors, friends, and relatives with their connections asked to have their houses treated too not just for termites, but every flying and creeping thing under the sun.

So the following year, in 1996, he registered Ally Integrated Pest Management, Inc., a business partnership.

As Pest control operator, among others he serviced International Rice Research Institute (IRRI) in Los Banos, Goldilocks Food chains, Century

Imperial Hotel, Jumbo Shark restaurant, Kowloon House West, Uno Resorts in Batangas.

He won over the top seven (7) Pest Control Companies by best program presentation, long-term contracts with Red Ribbon’s main factory, warehouse and office in Pasig and was awarded its branches in Metro Manila. He also did pre-construction termite projects such as Ateneo University, in QC.

Dr. Cielito Cometa is a hands-on pest control operator, and personally supervised each and every project he had, to see that best service is given to every client.

Through the years in the business, he saw his limitations as pest control operator and learned from pitfalls and failures that perfection comes with a great price.

First, he saw the need to have the best team of people he could trust, work with, and train to reproduce himself for expansion of the business.

Secondly, he saw the need to apply the latest technological innovations that can be used in pest control. Infrared, thermal detection, and x-rays could all be employed to detect areas of pest harborage.

Finally, he saw the great potential for natural pest control.

As a veterinarian he understands that pests have natural enemies in animals like dogs and cats. These animals have excellent natural detection and predatory abilities that could be tapped and used in pest control.

Demand and Opportunities.

Dr. Cometa sees the immense demand for Pest Control.

The effects of imbalance of the ecology and global warming due to industrialization and urbanization, is causing numerous problems including pest proliferation.

Cutting down of trees to give way to construction of buildings, caused saprophytes such as termites to invade our homes, and buildings, in search for alternative food sources.

The Loss of natural habitat resulted in drastic decrease in population of predatory animals and birds, resulting in booming increase of all sort of pests.
