FLOODED FORD FOCUS — INTERIOR RESTORATION UPDATE

From this… to a cabin we can finally recognize again.

When this Ford Focus arrived, the interior had been heavily affected by floodwater. Mud, moisture, mold, and contamination had reached areas that a normal interior detail would never touch.

Kaya hindi puwedeng linis sa ibabaw lang.

The interior had to be extensively stripped so we could work on the affected components individually tulad ng carpet, seats, panels, trims, flooring, and other accessible areas sa ilalim.

Steam. Agitation. Extraction. Cleaning. Drying. Inspection.
Piece by piece, hanggang maibalik natin nang maayos ang interior.

And now, the cleaned interior is 90% put back together.

Pero hindi pa tapos ang project.

As you’ll notice in the after photo, yung ibang components such as the steering-column and seats are still not yet installed. The vehicle also hasn’t been started yet, as the flood affected more than just the interior.

The electrical system still needs to be thoroughly inspected, diagnosed, and repaired as necessary by the owner’s mechanic/electrician before the remaining components can safely go back and the vehicle can be tested.

We want to be transparent about that because this isn’t a fake “before & after = completely restored” post.

DGB handled the interior restoration. The electrical/mechanical recovery is a separate part of bringing this Focus back.

Malayo na ang narating, but we’re not calling it finished until the work on our side is actually complete.

SUZUKI JIMNY 5-DOOR — PROTECTION MAINTENANCE

This Jimny came to us primarily for Watermark Removal, but during our initial inspection, the owner mentioned that the vehicle was already ceramic coated.

So before doing anything else, we checked the current behavior of the coating.

Napansin namin na mahina na ang hydrophobic performance compared to what we’d expect from a healthy, well-performing protective layer. Hindi ibig sabihin noon na yung existing ceramic coating is wala na. But it does tell us that the surface needed proper cleaning, decontamination, and maintenance.

After addressing the watermarks, we recommended a Ceramic Coating Booster to help refresh the existing protection and bring back stronger water behavior, gloss, and slickness.

We also added Hydrophobic Glass Coating for the windows, especially unpredictable ang weather sa Pilipinas.

Ceramic coatings still need proper washing, periodic decontamination, and maintenance to keep performing the way they’re supposed to.

HONDA CIVIC FC — INTERIOR RESET.

Minsan, hindi sapat na punasan lang kung ano ang nakikita.

This Civic FC got a Full Interior Detail + Mold Treatment + Waterless Engine Detail with the goal of properly addressing the interior condition, not simply covering it up with fragrance or dressing.

Sa mold treatment, importante na hindi lang mawala yung visible molds. We thoroughly inspected, cleaned and treated the affected areas, worked through the seats, carpets, panels, crevices, and other interior surfaces, then made sure everything was properly cleaned and dried before finishing.

No shortcuts. Walang pagtatakip ng amoy. Proper cleaning first.

We also gave the engine bay our Waterless Engine Detail, controlled cleaning and agitation without unnecessarily flooding sensitive electrical components with a pressure washer.

From a compromised interior to a cleaner, fresher, and properly detailed cabin.

FORD RANGER WILDTRAK — FROM MAINTENANCE TO PAINT RESTORATION.

This project started with a straightforward goal: clean, decontaminate, and bring the Ranger back to a proper baseline.

On Day 1, we performed a DGB Refresh together with:

• Watermark Removal
• Full Interior Detail
• Waterless Engine Detail

Pero habang tinatapos natin ang exterior, doon natin nakita ang tunay na condition ng paint.

After removing the surface-level contamination and watermarks, may naiwan pa ring severe water spots na etched na sa paint. These were no longer deposits that we could safely remove through chemical treatment alone.

And this is where proper assessment matters.

Instead na pilitin gamit ang stronger chemicals, we explained the condition to the client and recommended moving forward with our Ceramic Coating Package.

Why?

Because before applying the coating, we can properly prepare and machine-polish the paint to address the stubborn etched mineral deposits, improve the paint’s clarity and gloss, then finish everything with a ceramic protective layer.

Clean first. Assess the real condition. Correct what needs correcting. Then protect the result.

Hindi lahat ng problema sa paint nakikita agad habang marumi pa ang sasakyan and sometimes, the first detail reveals what the vehicle actually needs next.

Two days of work later, seeing the client’s reaction and receiving this review made the process worth it. 🙏

FORD RANGER WILDTRAK — TODAY’S DETAIL

7 hours, multiple concerns and each one, may tamang proseso.

Today, this Ranger received our DGB Refresh, together with Waterless Engine Detailing, Watermark Removal, and Mold Treatment sa mga affected interior areas.

For the exterior, we also performed chemical decontamination using iron remover on the body and glass para tanggalin ang mga embedded iron contamination before moving on to the next stages of the detail.

Pero habang ginagawa natin ang watermark removal, one thing became clear:

Hindi lahat ng watermark kayang tanggalin through chemical treatment alone.

Some of the watermarks have already etched into the paint. Instead of repeatedly using stronger chemicals or forcing the process, we stopped where chemical treatment had done its job.

Because proper detailing also means knowing when to change the approach.

So hindi pa tapos ang story nitong Ranger.

This Thursday, babalik siya for DGB Enhance, our Single-Stage Paint Enhancement.

We’ll move from chemical treatment to machine polishing to address the remaining etched watermarks while improving the paint’s overall clarity, gloss, and finish.

TODAY: Clean. Decontaminate. Treat. Assess.
THURSDAY: Correct. Enhance. Finish.

Hindi kailangan pilitin lahat sa isang process.

FLOODED FORD FOCUS — RESTORATION UPDATE

Tapos na tayo sa major stripping. Ngayon, actual restoration work na.

With most of the interior removed, we’re working on each affected piece one by one, controlled steam para palambutin at tanggalin ang hardened mud at contamination, followed by proper agitation and extraction sa seats, panels, at ibang interior trims na pwede pang ma-restore.

Hindi eto ordinary na interior detailing.

Kapag inabot ng baha ang loob ng sasakyan, hindi sapat na malinis lang kung ano ang nakikita. Yung putik at moisture, nakakapasok sa ilalim ng carpet, singit ng panels, seams, foam, at areas na normally hindi natin naa-access during a regular detail.

Kaya dito, hindi minamadali.

Loosen. Agitate. Extract. Inspect. Repeat.

Hindi muna shine or mabangong interior ang priority natin.

Ang priority: alisin muna nang maayos ang contamination.

Mahaba pa ang proseso nitong Ford Focus. The electrical and mechanical side will also be checked by the client’s mechanic separately before everything goes back together.
