You all know how much I love cleaning bathrooms… but this one? This one gets a little extra love and care.

It’s all tiles, on all 4 walls, and I get to do the cut and polish.
There’s a technique to it, you’ve got to use the right products and equipment for the job, but that’s what makes it so satisfying.
Honestly, I really enjoy it. It’s rewarding, it’s a workout (okay, maybe a really good workout). Seeing it shine from top to bottom makes it all worth it.

Important Notice – Closed Tuesday 19th May

It is with heavy hearts that we will be closed on Tuesday, 19th May, to attend the service of our beloved Tommo.

Tommo was a pillar of the Martinborough community and a cherished member of the Volunteer Fire Brigade.
Having grown up in martinborough, with firefighter parents, the fire station and the brigade has always been a place of laughter, memories, and family.
Tommo was at the heart of so many of those moments, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Our thoughts and condolences are with his partner Jess and the family during this time.
We thank you for your understanding as we take this day to honour Tommo’s life and legacy.

I love what I do—and I do it properly.
Every shower I clean gets a pre-spray down with my carefully made mould cleaning solution, and then I tackle it from head to toe using the right products for the job. No shortcuts, no harsh mixes—just effective cleaning that protects surfaces and keeps everything looking pristine everytime.

A lot of these homes I’ve been visiting for years, and consistency is key.
It also makes my job way easier.

Nothing beats a truly satisfying clean! ✨ It's like being a kid in a candy store – that overwhelming excitement is real! As a busy mom of three and running my own small cleaning business, I totally get how quickly things can pile up. Providing a clean base for my clients, whether it's a regular gig or a one-off, it is incredibly rewarding. I genuinely love what I do; I'm passionate about cleaning! While I'm terrible at remembering to take before-and-after photos (oops!), the transformation I witness is amazing. Knowing my clients can come home to a beautifully clean space where all those little tasks they don't have time for are taken care of, is the best feeling. I'm so grateful for this job!

Can you believe it? It's almost my business's three-year birthday! 🎉 I'm so excited to celebrate how far I've come. I remember when I was just cleaning a couple of houses, more as a hobby than a job. After numerous comments on how I should open my own cleaning business and share my talent, I decided to open SouthWairarapa CleaningService.
I can't believe that was almost three years ago!
Over the past three years, I've learned so much – both the good and the not-so-good. I've made mistakes, but each one has been a valuable lesson, helping me grow and become a better cleaner, boss, and business owner.
I have so many people to thank for my success and growth. A big thank you to you all.
