We are looking for an energetic and motivated individual to join our small, friendly team!
Happy Place is a local property care team operating across Queenstown and Arrowtown. We specialise in residential cleaning, holiday home co-hosting, and home and away services.
This role offers the opportunity to grow within our business, working in a varied and rewarding environment where every day brings something new. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
Role and duties:
• Residential cleaning and housekeeping
• Home organisation
• Holiday home cleaning & linen hire
• Linen pick-up/deliveries
• Property checks & facilities management
• Restocking & monitoring supplies
Who we’re looking for:
😊 Professional, proactive and efficient with good time management.
😊 Committed to delivering high standards of cleanliness and presentation with an eye for detail.
😊 Good problem solving skills and able to work independently.
😊 Good understanding of guest service and hospitality. Knowledge of platforms such as Airbnb would be a bonus.
😊 Able to carry out a number of basic housekeeping tasks proficiently such as ironing clothing and linen, making beds, laundry.
😊 Adaptable to working on a variety of tasks and flexible when handling varying demand such as high and low season, weekend work.
Requirements:
• Full NZ driver’s license and means of transport.
• Good level of personal fitness, able to carry loads of 10-15kg.
• Permanent NZ resident.
• Excellent communication skills, fluent in spoken and written English.
Additional Details:
• Full-time or Part-time work available.
• Work based throughout Queenstown and Arrowtown.
• Working a flexible schedule Monday-Sunday between the hours of 8:30-5:30.
