A lengthy post for my current favourite families……I mean client base 😉

You will have noticed a couple of little changes with times and rotations as I have been annoyingly less reliable 🙄

Almost 7 years ago I was diagnosed with cancer, and with quick action through the hospital I had a “total hysterectomy” and all the follow up procedures.

Fast forward to a couple of weeks ago on a lovely Friday morning when the drs called the ambulance on me, pumped me full of morphine and booked me a bed at the hospital.

Through a number of scans they found something had grown the the space where the uterus used to live….great 🤦‍♀️
(In this part I could say some reasons why this has happened and been missed, but I shall not! I’m just grateful it’s been found)

Now because of my history they have gone all out with discussions and meetings to make sure this is all looked at properly.
I’ve continued working, and you will have seen my OUTSTANDING team telling me off and refusing to let me do anything they class as heavy work…..boring!

The doctors have decided that my friend (Burt the bastardly growth) will be removed with an o***y this Thursday through laparoscopy so they can biopsy it and see what it actually is…..I’m convinced it’s a mass of pies and chocolate 😂 nothing serious, just damn annoying!!

This means from Thursday you won’t (probably will) see me for 4 weeks and my incredible team will be covering everything I do.

You will get your messages from Jaden and you will be able to change times and have requests through her, but I will still be contactable!

As a small business owner I do all the payroll, invoices, client liaising, bookings, quotes, car maintenance, product stock, work washing, keys, codes, data entry and HR……and I’ve dumped it all on their shoulders as fast as Burt bit me in the stomach!

You are all so amazing so I know I don’t need to say this, but please be patient with us over the next 4 weeks, we are all stumbling through this the best we can!

P.s the continuous flow of positive feedback messages and recommendations these past weeks have been insane THANK YOU!

Just a little tiny idea of what I mean when I say “trust me, we have seen worse! Your home is beautiful!”

Don’t ever apologise for what busy lives, family obligations, physical barriers or mental barriers can cause your home to look like.
We are there for you 100% without judgement!

This is just 2 houses I’m using as an example of the things we come across reasonably regularly.

One is of a home that belonged to a person who isolated themselves away from the world until their ill-health took over and won 😓 cleaners were hired and paid for…..they happily took payment and walked out on the job after just shifting rubbish out of a couple of areas and cleaning nothing 😥 so we took over 💪
The second house is a small snippet of an ex-rental that was used as….umm….a “kitchen” ifykyk 😬the devastated owner had minimal resources and time…so we stepped in 💪 …….. and theses aren’t the worst!

Stop apologising for for allowing us to help…..it’s our privilege 🫶

After ONE clean, without any flash, pricey products.

Kelvin Grove and Cloverlea seem to be the areas with the worst hard water, causing marks all over the fixtures and glass in showers.

The first and most efficient way to keep it away is to dry the shower out after every use.

The second tip is, don’t leave it until it’s too bad to get rid of.

Last tip, stop spending so much money on the next product that claims to be a miracle solution!

This fixture was cleaned with a scrub daddy and jif……that’s all. After a second clean, it will more than likely be all the way back to new.

Also…..consistency is key!!

Sometimes we need a RESET 😍

Life happens, people happen, events and appointments happen and the daily chores get pushed to the “tomorrow list”
Before you know it, it’s become overwhelming and a lot more time consuming than the time you have available!

Lastly, we take over! We will get your priorities done and we will take a look at the wish list to see what we can do with our last 5mins 😉.

Our team have the bugging, the struggles and the wishes too! So we get it! And nothing brings us more joy than ticking off those lists for you in a wee one off reset clean ❤️

I just wanted to do a different post to say thank you to all our pet friendly homes for allowing us to give your babies extra hugs and pats this past week.

My boy of 11 years passed away last Monday and I’ve felt a burn of pain that I have never felt before.

I appreciate your pets more than I ever have in these last days and the entire team are so grateful and blessed you all allow us to be a part of their lives each week ❤️

We will forever be a pet friendly business, we understand they are as much a part of your household as any human ❤️
