I just wanted to do a different post to say thank you to all our pet friendly homes for allowing us to give your babies extra hugs and pats this past week.

My boy of 11 years passed away last Monday and I’ve felt a burn of pain that I have never felt before.

I appreciate your pets more than I ever have in these last days and the entire team are so grateful and blessed you all allow us to be a part of their lives each week ❤️

We will forever be a pet friendly business, we understand they are as much a part of your household as any human ❤️

Couple of oven tips for a Sunday morning!

This was the inside of an oven after it had been “professionally cleaned” by a commercial company.

My first tip is - those racks on the side just pop out. These are the sorts of ovens I look at and think “yay an easy clean” because of the ease removing all the racks.
You can see that this oven has been sprayed with the rack still attached.

Second tip - ok well done you got the muck off with your chosen oven cleaner…..now RINSE it!
After I’ve removed all the marks that I can, I use an eco multipurpose to spray the whole lot all over again. Then I use a clean warm damp microfibre to clean it all off, which takes away the oven cleaner residue I may not have seen.

Last tip - when the oven is rinsed and put back together, turn her onto fan bake and a high temp and let the remaining chemical burn off. This will also show you anywhere you haven’t rinsed because it will turn white….like this one.

A new owner doesn’t want to move into their new home and prepare the oven for a meal only to have it billow out with oven cleaner burning their eyes and lungs!

Take that extra 5 minutes to make sure you don’t end up with this result 😉
