This year is an election year, and we want to actively encourage all Ngāti Manawa whānau to ensure they are enrolled to vote and that they are registered on the electoral roll that best reflects their choice. The Māori Roll or the General Roll.

We’d like to remind all our whānau, hapū and iwi members that Thursday, 6 August 2026 is the deadline to choose whether you wish to be enrolled on the Māori Roll or the General Roll.

Your enrolment and roll choice are important, so we encourage everyone to check that their details are up to date before the deadline.
