Juunx art

Juunx art I create sculptures from junk metal. I find old bits of junk, degrease and remove some rust and weld them into anything that comes into my head. I love it!

This is my new artistic adventure. I taught myself to weld and found some bits of metal and began! I make metal sculptures and lamps out of old metal junk found all over the place. They usually come to me as greasy car parts, rusted old tools or bits of scrap ready for the tip. I rescue them! I sometimes immediately see something in them, face, a body, a foot or great lamp stand and then work from

there. The cleaning up process is the hardest but the most rewarding. Removing rust, degreasing or cutting off unnecessary bits. I then set about welding pieces together and before I know it I have created something! It's messy and dirty and hard on my girly hands and turns my hair yellow but I still love it. Am really proud of the fact that people want to buy my work and that men seem to really love it. So all my work is for sale. This is my dog Pistol. Thanks everyone for the junk donations. Pistol is mainly made from old tools, car parts, (pistons, cam shafts etc) a horse shoe, (have no idea where that came from) plenty of nuts! And a fire poker! Great guard dog and obviously does not need feeding. Not even skin! Just bones.
