This is my new artistic adventure. I taught myself to weld and found some bits of metal and began! I make metal sculptures and lamps out of old metal junk found all over the place. They usually come to me as greasy car parts, rusted old tools or bits of scrap ready for the tip. I rescue them! I sometimes immediately see something in them, face, a body, a foot or great lamp stand and then work from
there. The cleaning up process is the hardest but the most rewarding. Removing rust, degreasing or cutting off unnecessary bits. I then set about welding pieces together and before I know it I have created something! It's messy and dirty and hard on my girly hands and turns my hair yellow but I still love it. Am really proud of the fact that people want to buy my work and that men seem to really love it. So all my work is for sale.
