And that’s a wrap for Baptist Easter Camp 2026 ⛺️
From Wednesday to Monday evening , our teams from Yeshua Global Church - Hamilton showed up with heart - serving from 7am through to midnight. Early mornings. Late nights. Long days… and still showing up for one another, in unity and for the one purpose.
Another year of sacrifice, hard work, and passion: building community, and building God’s Kingdom 🙏🏽
Grateful for every moment - the laughter, the late nights, shared meals, fellowship, and learnings. From our young people, newbies to leaders, drivers to cooks - every role mattered. Without each of you, this would not have been possible 💛

It’s often said “cleaning” isn’t glamorous - but these were the very roles our parents and grandparents took on (and many still do) when they migrated from the Pacific islands to give us a better life, put us through school, provide a roof over our heads, and support our families back home. Quiet sacrifice, unseen by many, but never unnoticed!
This week reminded us: there is dignity in every role, and purpose in every act of service. At the center of it all - Easter.
Easter reminds us: what looks buried is not finished. What feels broken can be restored. What seems lost can be redeemed. Because of Him, we don’t just have life we have new life 🔥
To our young people - keep that fire burning. The hunger to learn, to earn, and to lead.
And to our step challenge winners bringing the fun for the day with

And finally, to the boss man- the one who prepares for weeks prior to every event- Tonu Alaimoana. Ensuring all is ready for each event from equipment, stock, uniform, schedules, staff etc…all the unseen work yet will never expect credit.
Even with carrying an injury, you delivered and exceeded on expectations as always. Thank you for all that you do ❤️
