About the role
We are seeking a skilled labourer to join our growing team. This role can possibly grow into a drainlaying apprenticeship for the right candidate. As a key player in our small, dynamic team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a variety of drainage projects from new house installations, multi-unit developments, and maintenance of existing properties.
To be successful in the role you must be/have:
• Excellent communication skills
• Efficient time management and the ability to plan and organize workload
• Self-motivated and ability to work safely and unsupervised
• Ability to complete jobs to a high standard
• Sound understanding of health and safety
• Class 1 license — 2 to 5 would be an advantage, WTR Endorsements advantageous
• A minimum of 3 years of New Zealand experience
• Must have own reliable transport
• Undergo and pass all pre-employment checks
• Strong work ethic, and able to work well in a team environment
• Applicants must either be a NZ citizen, resident or hold a NZ valid work visa
• Drug-free (Pre-employment, reasonable cause, post-incident and random drug testing).
